Like I said in my journal:
This song ["Clothes" by BarlowGirl] is a great reminder to all women of any age that just because those bimbos on TV and in magazines tell us we need to dress skimpily to be noticed doesn't mean we have to do that! Dressing immodestly gets nobody anywhere, only attracts the wrong kind of attention, and is all-around stupid.
As young women, we need to take a stand against immodesty and protect the guys from bad thoughts! All they need is a little encouragement, and a guy can undress a girl in his mind.
I dunno about y'all, but to me, that's more than a little bit unsettling.
So ladies, let's go against the flow of pop culture and dress modestly, in clothes that actually FIT us! Be brave, honorable, and respectable women, not careless and stupid girls.
